An interpretation of an oxymoronic human response. Soft to the touch, but slices like a well-honed blade. A weapon so powerful; it can destroy everything it touches. But in the proper hands it can heal and nourish soul.
We speak of [Love]; a terrifying notion. Used to pursue the destruction of a people. We speak of [Love]; a beautiful departure. The true love of a mother for her child.
It’s a dangerous comforter. It should be feared; avoided. A sinful, blessed distraction. Embrace it. Nurture it.
The turmoil of wanting love… The intensity of finding love… The fear of losing love… The frustration of avoiding.
We are infected with it.
