GRAVITY

I feel the thickness in the air;

It pushes down on me.

So many things I can and cannot say;

It pins me to the ground.

Scared of the world outside my home;

My life compressed by fear.

The closest person could be my end;

The anxiety crushes my bones.

Undeserving, rewarded;

Righteousness, persecuted.

Fighting for a free world or just fighting.

Conquering humanity with humanity.

So much weight is added to a delicate system.

Holding me together, or holding me down?
